Jazz Festival in Victoria BC | June 28, 2012

Spent Friday through Sunday in glorious (even in the rain) Victoria BC, me and 97 others traveling together for TD Victoria Jazz Festival.  I didn’t have much time for photography, but here are a couple of nice views from the balcony of my hotel room.

Our group attended two wonderful concerts, Dianne Reeves on Friday night, and the double-header on Saturday billed as “New Orleans Old and New”–  Preservation Hall Jazz Band with Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue.

It was my pleasure and an honor to act as MC for the New Orleans concert, and to meet most of the PHJB.  Shorty and crew were a bit less sociable, but they certainly put on a rousing show.
