Clark Terry 1920

His autobiography “Clark”  won two awards recently,  the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Deems Taylor Awards Timothy White Award, and the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) Award for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound Research).

The film bio/documentary still in the works is called “Keep On Keepin’ On,”and we hope it will be available soon.

Click here for my book review and remembrance of Clark written for Groovenotes.org last year.

“Talking about being grateful. Man. I appreciate all the love from everybody who inspired me to “Keep On Keepin’ On!” And you know what? When you get to be an old fart like me, that’s the most important thing.  Love. Pure and simple. That’s what keeps me going.”–CT
